The 2019 Fellowships application process

For the 2019 fellowships program 8 participants will be selected in total, two from each of the represented disciplines – business, design, engineering, and medicine. In April, during the first week of the program, the teams will be formed with one representative from each discipline, and the teams will be assigned their clinic.

In order to be considered for a spot in the program each applicant needs to submit an application through the Clinical Innovation Fellowships page on this website. Applicants need to submit a CV and a cover letter in english, as well as contact information to three references who speak either swedish or english.

After submission, the application process is as follows.

1. Application deadline – Thursday, January 31st

Applications need to be submitted by 23:59 CET on Thursday, January 31st.

2. Skype interviews

All submitted applications will be reviewed by program management and successful candidates will be interviewed via Skype on Feb. 4-8.

3. Assessment day – Saturday, February 16th

Assessment day will take place at RISE’s offices in Stockholm, Sweden. During the assessment day candidates will interview with program management and friends of the program, participate in assessment activities such as workshops, and solve cases.

Only candidates who are able to attend the assessment day on Saturday, February 16th are eligible to join the program.

4. Reference contact

The assessment team will contact one or more of the candidates’ references.

5. Offer

Selected candidates will receive an offer to join the program in February. Program starts with activities in Stockholm on April 23rd.
